Local Priorities Road Safety Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Yesterday, PC Birdsall attended an incident report of a nuisance vehicle on Temple Newsam Road, which was said to be pulling donuts in the field.

On arrival the reported vehicle was located insecure and abandoned in the field, officers conducted enquiries, the vehicle was subsequently seized, and the investigation remains ongoing.

NPT are frequently deploying to the area to address reports of such anti-social vehicular nuisance and road safety matters, with multiple actions taken to date.

As a result we have seen a reduction in calls to service to the location over the last four weeks.
